A former gymnast, Ivory boasts a storied history of dance and movement training. A Graduate of Toronto’s prestigious Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts,Ivory’s professional dance training consists of Ballet (Cecchetti Method ), Tap, and Jazz, with secondary training in Hip Hop, Modern and African Dance.
Burlesque
A former yogi, Ivory’s love for movement carries her through all performing disciplines.
2016 marked the year that Ivory triumphantly returned to burlesque onstage. She has performed at numerous burlesque festivals across North America and abroad, headlining the 2018 Ohio Nerdlesque Festival and appearing as a Feature Performer for the Toronto Burlesque Festival (2019) the Capital Burlesque Expo and the Calgary Burlesque Festival. She prides herself on her ability to combine costuming, character creation and choreography to create unique burlesque performances which combine her various skill sets as a performer into resonant pieces of performance art.
